Everything from pony rides, tractor & trailer rides, feed the lambs, deer, goats, ducks and more. Small indoor and outdoor play areas. Meet all of our animals and have a great day. Tea, coffee and home made scones available in our tea house.

At Killinkere Visitor Farm we design fun packed educational days to suit all types of school groups. Plenty of hands on farming fun, field trips and nature studies. Booking Essential.

Our farm camps are famous for hands on farming fun! Camps run for 6 weeks in July & August.
10am – 3pm each day. €85 per child, pre booking with deposit required. Limited Spaces, early booking advised.
Killinkere Visitor Farm have designed a week full of activities for children aged between 5 and 13 years old for a fun, exciting, educational and interactive experience. Join in daily tasks such as feeding, grooming and handling animals. Also get to experience pony riding each day.
Learn traditional crafts and skills such as butter & boxty making, bread and jam making and food tracing from farm to kitchen.
Other activities include seed and nature planting, nature studies including plants, wildlife and berries.
Walk the heritage trail. Learn about bogland, traditional crops, ring forts, crannogs and on the last day of each week a special field sports day.

Our farm camp will be a great opportunity for children to experience the joys of a traditional mixed farm, soaking up fresh air, sunshine and maybe a few raindrops amid some of the most beautiful Drumlin scenery in the country. The Farming Fun Week is based on our farm in the midst of the lovely rolling countryside of Killinkere, Virginia, Co. Cavan.
Children must come in old clothes and shoes/wellies and bring a packed lunch. We also have plenty of indoor activities for wet days. All activities are fully supervised and based on the farm.
